Welcome to Mini Seeds Christian Day Care Centre and Pre-school for young children.
This is our Grade RRR (2-3yrs) Package and contract of agreement. Please note that all terms and conditions are to be maintained, respected and adhered to by both the care provider, parents and guardians involved.

This agreement contains the terms agreed upon between Provider (Miniseeds Christian Daycare Centre and Pre-school)  and Parent(s) / Guardian(s)

What to expect from our package:

  • All round attention and care- children will not be left unattended
  • Holistic development investment where all activities are intended for the purposeful growth of the child.
  • Potty training (parents and caregivers are to participate simultaneously)
  • Self-feeding training (parents and caregivers are to participate simultaneously)
  • All parents are to purchase the school uniform (shorts, skorts golf t-shirt, tracksuit) from the principal, and it is to be worn from Monday-to Thursday
  • Fridays are civvies day for R5 per Friday

Our care services include:

  • Monday to Friday care from 06:30 AM to 05:30 PM (Primary package).
  • Saturdays: are only sourced out to parents to who are working full weekends wherein proof is supplied. Where the centre will open from: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM (special package).
  • Sundays are only sourced out to parents to who are working full weekends wherein proof is supplied. Where the centre will open from: 08:00 AM - 02:00 PM (special package).
  • Sleepovers – are conditional to special occasions, and unexpected, and emergent situations. Each child has a maximum of 4 sleepovers during the course of the year, and this should be booked beforehand and not exceed the minimum number of 3 children per night From 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM. (emergency package).

 

Upon arrival on any and all school days, all toddlers are to be received awake and alert.

Conditions to paying fees:

  • Fees are to be paid a month prior to attendance; no exceptions will be made on this clause.
  • Fees are to be paid in full regardless of attendance due to absence, illness, vacation/holidays or any other reason.
  • Payments are due from the 25th to the 1st of each month, and late payments will be charged at R90 per day before receiving the child into the centre, or the child will not be allowed to enter the premises.
  • If payment is not received by the 7th of the month, immediate termination of contract will be in situ and thus forfeiting any refundable deposits.
  • The Mini seeds Day Care and pre-school centre strictly operates on the hours agreed to, and any other requests will need to be arranged prior, and extra charges will be included
  • Late pick-up or collection charges will start incurring at R30 per 15 minutes late
  • Should a child need emergency condiments like diapers and wipes in a case where they have run out, additional fees will incur.

Alerts, notifications and emergencies :

  • Absenteeism- Parents are to notify the centre via call or text one hour before usual arrival time.
  • Illness- should a child exude any form of sickness or symptoms of sorts; parents will be obliged to keep the child home for the duration of the sickness. Pleased be advised that we are all obligated to adhere to the safety of all children there we implore parents and guardians to take this matter into serious consideration.
  • Medical emergencies- in the case of minor bumps and scrapes or scratches, we will clean up the wound with Savlon or Dettol and put a simple bandage on. However in the case of a serious emergency, parents will be immediately notified, emergency services alerted and all protocol to put the child first will be adhered to.
  • The centre has first aid trained teachers, and in cases of emergencies they will be our first responders. In the case of chronic illness, and medication must be administered every few hours, parents are encouraged to take the teachers from the centre for the right training and to the relevant signatory bodies for authorisation of the administration of the medication.

Unforeseen emergencies- in the event that unforeseen emergencies such as a turn in the weather where a storm erupts, lack water, or any situation that may cause a forceful shutdown of the premises, parents will be notified immediately and implored to make all the necessary arrangements for the child to be taken home safely.

Child protection and discipline

  • All children are in the process of developing, and as such should be given the grace and space to learn how regulate themselves when in conflict with their peers. Our teachers understand that there will be NO harsh punishment, spanking or corporal punishment of any to any child regardless of their age. Suffice to say that parents will NOT discipline children in a harsh manner on the premises.  
  • If a child exudes concerning, disruptive or uncontrollable behaviour, it is the responsibility of both the parents and teachers to help that with better behavioural compass, where a meeting might be requested to find a suitable way forward to help the child.
  • Children will be separated fairly and respectfully so for their safety and development purposes.
  • Any form of corporal punishment is prohibited by the law therefore none of it will be permitted on the learning centre by either the teachers or the parents. The safety of children being both physical and emotional safety is at the cornerstone of our existence. All children have the right to feel seen and heard.
  • The principal and all employees are to ensure that children are not to be left alone or unattended for whatever the reason may be, and parents are made aware that should that children might suffer scratches, or scrapes while playing and that is a normal part of development, however the centre cannot be held accountable for unseen events that are either minor or major. In cases of serious and law involving situations both the law and the parents are given the full liberty to investigate.

The school allows for 2 emergency contacts in the case where the parents or guardians are not able to pick up the child from the centre. These contacts and all their details should be listed in the registration form attached to this contractual agreement.

This agreement is entered into by parties who are neither coerced or under duress of any kind, and the commencement of the contract is on the 05-01-2026.

Termination and renewal or contract.

  • In the event that the parent wants to terminate the contract, they will give the principal 30 days notice of the termination, and  they are eligible for the refundable deposit.
  • However should the contract be terminated abruptly, the refundable deposit doesn’t apply, and fines might be stipulated where R 2000 of the deposit would be imposed as the fine.
  • All terminations are to be done in writing and submitted as either a hard copy or a soft copy.
  • All parents who wish to continue their relationship with the centre are encouraged to renew their contracts by October 31st
  • All contracts entered into by both the centre and the parents are to be automatically terminated on December 31st 2026

List of supplies

  • Parents are to provide an extra change of clothes in case of messy situations; these should be in the child’s bag everyday
  • Parents are to provide children with their own mattress covers and little fleece blankets for nap time, and parents are also to be made aware that these blankets will be returned home on selected Fridays for washing at home, as the centre does not yet have a laundry service to cater to that need.
  • Parents are to provide insect repellent spray for their child (peaceful sleep or tabard)
  • Parents are to provide sun hats, sunscreen and drinking water bottles or a Sippy cup for water

All information provided will be kept confidential and private.  Under no circumstances will information be shared to any persons other than that privy to it, or for statistics purposes provided, all parties agree.
